Benfield Valley Transformation

Some you may have noticed some strange things happening on the Benfield Valley Golf Course site, and you’d be right. Things are a changing, for the better.

Over the past couple of months there have been ongoing negations for Richard Philp to take over the management of the whole site. Richard started his career as a professional football player, before injury cut his career short. He then founded a children’s charity, and then created a sports brand called 1v1 that makes personalised footballs to inspire players. His vision is to transform the tired and neglected golf course into a thriving environment of fun and laughter for the community to have a go at playing Footgolf.

‘Footgolf?? What’s Footgolf’ I can hear you mumble. Footgolf is one of the few activities where the whole family can participate, right the way from kids, parents to grand-parents. Its a simple case of trying to get a football into by simply kicking it. It can be taught within minutes, and then you are ready.

  1. Hi,

I work at a small school in Lancing. I’m interested to know if you are able to take a small group booking for this Thursday? I would probably have 8 young people and 2/3 staff/careers that would play. Our school day on a Thursday is 9-12:15. The earliest we could get to you is around 9:30 and we’d need to leave by 12pm to get back to school.
Please can you let me know if you offer any discounted rates for SEN schools and if you have availability on Thursday this morning.
Look forward to hearing from you,
    Kind regards,
    Niki

    1. so sorry as only just seen this message. Yes we can easily accommodate your school and we offer some good discounts for schools.
